European stocks were higher; German trade data

 European stock markets edged higher cautiously on Thursday, as investors continued to monitor developments around the Covid virus and ahead of key US jobs data.




At 3:35 a.m. ET (0835 GMT), the DAX in Germany was trading 0.1% higher, the CAC 40 in France was up 0.3% and the UK's FTSE 100 was up 0.2%.
