On January 10, 2022, nearly 5.5 million TOT shares of Transimex Transport JSC (UPCoM: TOT) - a subsidiary of Transimex JSC (HOSE: TMS (HM:TMS)) will officially leave the UPCoM.
The reason is that TOT has been approved by the Hanoi Stock Exchange to list shares on the HNX. However, the official listing date has yet to be announced.
About TOT, The company was transformed from Foreign Trade Freight Forwarding One Member Limited Liability Company, formerly the Transportation division of Transimex - Saigon Company (now Transimex Joint Stock Company). In 2009, TOT officially converted to a joint stock company and started trading shares on UPCoM from July 2017.
TOT's main business activities revolve around logistics-related fields such as freight transport by road and inland waterway; Coastal freight and ocean; Warehousing and storage business, loading and unloading goods. In addition, the Company also repairs and maintains transport vehicles as well as provides transportation-related support services.
In the first 9 months of 2021, TOT recorded nearly 77 billion dong in revenue, up 28% over the same period. Although administrative expenses increased sharply, the company's profit after tax still increased by nearly 47%, reaching nearly VND 4.4 billion.
Thanks to continuous strong gains in December, TOT's stock price ended 2021 with a growth of more than 161% compared to the beginning of the year, to 13,000 VND/share. However, the liquidity of TOT stock was still quite low when it only recorded 6,175 shares/session.
